Thank you for continuing to pray for Russ after his stroke 11 days ago. 
He is not making the improvement I had hoped he would over the past few 
days so the length of his stay in ICU is uncertain.

I have three opportunities a day to visit him. His condition fluctuates 
from visit to visit. This evening  Russ had moments of tracking and 
smiled at our daughter Christie. In the same visit he seem to writhe in 
pain at times. He was feverish earlier, but not this evening.

I believe Russ will live through this experience, but he still needs 
lots of prayer. Thank you for praying for me too. Last night was the 
first night I got really good rest since Russ' stroke.

Christie plans to return to the US tomorrow to finish her last two 
weeks of college. I'm very glad it worked out for her to come to see 
her dad. I have decided to cancel my plane ticket back to the US for 
her college graduation. My sister was able to extend her stay with me 
until April 17. I am very grateful for her support. Our son Joel plans 
to arrive in Japan on May 8 and be with us all summer.
