It's been awhile since I've written. I thought I'd update you on some of the happenings at the Epley household here in Tokyo. In February my coworkers and I put together an event called Arts & Skills Day. About 140 children came with their parents and participated in a variety of classes such as woodworking, drama, and crocheting. I enjoyed teaching cake decorating to a group of eager girls. Russ helped us out by manning the book sales for homeschooling parents. The school library is wheelchair accessible so it worked out well to host the sale there. People were so happy to talk to Russ and he enjoyed them! I may be prejudiced, but I think he has a winning smile. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... This helps parents know how their children are progressing and what areas need special attention. I've already given the tests to one boy and he did so well. I admire these parents who are out there sharing the gospel with people who haven't heard the Good News and at the same time teach their own kids. When a child lives in an environment where all his playmates speak Japanese and he still excels in English reading....well, it just gives me joy. I love serving as an educational consultant to these families. Blessings, Flossie
