In over 100 years Tokyo has not had so many days of relentless heat. We haven't had our usual typhoons. But we have air conditioners in both our living room and our bedroom and....TA DA...Russ changed a lightbulb without any assistance. What's a little (okay, a lot of) heat when Russ can add a new post-stroke accomplishment to his list. God is sustaining us and we're grateful. If you're interested in reading about some more God happenings in the past two weeks, feel free to check out my blog which I finally updated. Three different therapists come to our home each week. Wednesday all three plan to come together with a reporter from their organization to interview us for an article for their monthly newsletter. Russ' therapists thought he could be an encouragement to the other clients. We really have no idea what to say, but are trusting God to give us just the right words to say when the time comes. We have a placard in the entryway of our home that has the Japanese characters for faith, hope, and love written on it. It is because of Jesus Christ that these three traits abide deep in our hearts. Please pray that God will use the interview for His glory and that the woman who writes the article will be led by the Holy Spirit. Rejoicing, Flossie
